Facts about the updated workplace
The workplace update launched yesterday ushered in many, many changes. Some of these changes include implementing numerous functions requested by clickworkers via the survey we released a few weeks ago. Here is a quick overview of some of those changes.
Inactive Qualifications and Projects
Because of the recent changes, there are a few projects that have not been released onto the workplace yet. Soon the necessary updates will be made and these projects will be available for work in the next few hours or days.
After working on the website and customer pages, the technical team also gave the workplace a facelift. Now every last detail is consistent.
It was frequently requested that all clickworkers, even those who did not currently have any qualifications, be able to view all available jobs. So effective immediately, all projects that are active on the workplace are visible to all clickworkers. The qualifications they require are also available for viewing with just a click on the corresponding link.
Now the available jobs and their requirements are much more transparent, so in order to prevent confusion, clickworkers are still able to block jobs they are not interested in from their overview.
A brand-new feature is putting a temporary hold on payments. Up until now, even technical support had limited ability to do this. Now it is easy for you to put your payments on hold so that you can be paid the accumulated amount at a later date.
Project Rating and Status
Another frequent request was to have more transparency in project status, ranking and comments. Now one click on the project history will reveal the desired details.
This information will be available for extended periods of time so that clickworkers can go back and view the history during the entire run of the project. Hopefully this detailed information will prevent previous mistakes from being repeated.
Repeating qualification attempts and results
The new workplace makes another frequently requested item possible: now clickworkers can make repeated attempts at qualification.
This item is not active at the moment, but will be soon. Once it is running, clickworkers will be able to make multiple attempts to qualify after a specific waiting period between attempts. Clickworkers will be notified directly on the relevant page when this feature is active..
It is also currently possible to see what results were necessary in order to have passed a specific qualification. Additionally, now clickworkers can also see why they were not permitted to work on a project even though they were qualified.
Our clickworkers have already brought some technical problems to our attention. We were already able to fix a few of them yesterday. We are working as quickly as we can to fix all other mistakes. Thank you for bringing them to our attention.
