Welcome to the third part of our series of blog articles about fashion categorization. Did you miss the first two articles? Then check them out at: Fashion Categorization 1 &
Fashion Categorization 2
Today we will take a look at items that should not be categorized. As a rule you can only sort items in the tree category if there is a suitable category available.
There is for example no space for books, DVDs, etc.
Does that mean that items cannot be categorized if they are not obviously fashion items? NO, because there are categories for different kinds of suitcases or beach towels.
The second blog article about fashion categorization deals with possible stumbling blocks that you might encounter while working on the tasks.
Stumbling block 1: Women’s and men’s categories
In some cases it seems obvious what is meant.
For example: The item is a checked top with long sleeves and a button-down front: It has to be a checked shirt!
When you go through the category tree you will notice that there is a difference between Shirts (for men) and Blouses (for women). Therefore be sure to check whether it is a women’s or a men’s item. Checked shirts and lumberjack shirts are men’s items; plaid blouses are for women only.
You have probably noticed that the number of new tasks involving fashion categorization has not let up. This is because the customers were very satisfied with your results in the test project. We are therefore delighted that we can now offer you more of these quick tasks for a prolonged period of time.
Newcomer? This project involves the categorization of fashion items from various shops, brands and designers based on a predefined structure. This blog article will help clarify the basic process flow of the tasks.
Are you relaxing on the couch and dreaming of a hammock with a view over a turquoise blue sea? As a Clickworker you can put these daydreams to use because travel descriptions crop up at regular intervals. The variety of projects is large and can range from a text about an airport in Turkey, information about car rentals in a popular city to insider tips for a weekend trip. A travel text must contain essential information, rouse the reader’s emotions and, at the very best, convince him of the travel destination or confirm the reader’s choice.
