Clickworker has a new Spell Checker!

We have finally installed another Spell Check tool for the text creation tasks at clickworker.com. The tool finds any spelling mistakes, marks them in red, and displays any grammar mistakes in yellow.

This is how it works: If you click “Check Spelling” under the text box, a new window appears displaying all mistakes and providing alternatives, which can be pasted with just one easy click. You will find improvement suggestions to correct any grammar mistakes that are marked in yellow. The corrections from the pop-up window can be easily inserted in the original text. If you decide that a word should not be changed, you can skip the error message by using the “Ignore Error” function.

Can any specific spelling for a word be used as default? That is possible and is called “Rule Implementation”. Once the text is corrected, it can be submitted. So now there is another practical tool available to make writing text much easier. However, please do not rely on even the best Spell Checker. It is still very important to read the text carefully before sending it in.

Our tip: It is better to store a security copy of the text on your PC, instead of depending exclusively on the Clickworker workplace. Save your text separately, just in case, and then you can concentrate on the other exciting Clickworker projects.
