“CFP & Founders Investments” is a co-investment vehicle which was founded in 1998 in Frankfurt am Main as Corporate Finance Partners CFP Beratungs-GmbH (CFP), a Corporate Finance and Mergers & Acquisitions consulting firm. The activities of CFP & Founders Investments mostly stem from deal flow at the CFP & Beratungs-GmbH (CFO & Consulting Company) or involve the network of CFP & Founders Investments. The network of funds is made up of 150 investors in the area of telecommunications, Internet, IT, software, Clean Tech, media and medicine technology. Many of the former CFP & Beratungs-GmbH (CFO & Consulting Company) clients are now involved in CFP & Founders Investments. Currently around €33.4 million of funds are being managed. Apart from the purely financial engagements, CFP portfolio companies has access to the network of CFP & Founders Investments and profit from commercial contacts, trade experience and management skills.

High-Tech Gründerfonds:
High-Tech Gründerfonds invests venture capital in young, risky, technology companies, who are performing promising company research. With help from „seed financing“ of up to €500,000 with economic terms of start-ups that have research and development plans in the aim of making, for example, proof of concepts or to help them become market leaders. The High-Tech Gründerfonds is made up of €272 million in investments in the public-private partnership sphere, such as the Germany’s Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology, the KfW banking group as well as the six-industry group consisting of BASF, Deutsche Telekom, Siemens, Robert Bosch, Daimler and Carl Zeiss.

KfW:
Start-ups, technology-based companies and middle-income families have access to transparent, coordinated finance methods. KfW mobilizes funds for young, innovative tech companies with the support of Germany’s Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology (BMWi) and ERP-Startfonds (enterprise resource planning start-up funds). KfW participates in the loan process without trying to get involved in the management of companies. But the requirement is that the lead investor must be loaning at least the same amount of money. The same financial terms are applicable to KfW, as for the lead investor.
