Our “WebForms” tool arose from a project in North Rhine-Westphalia titled “web-to-crowd” that was completed at the end of March 2015. The goal of the project was to create a system that would make it easier for small and mid-sized digital media and content industry companies to access the crowd. As a consequence thereof we entirely revamped our self-service marketplace. Numerous features and a user friendly interface make it easier for less technically adept persons to place text creation orders, translations and surveys.
At the same time, the self-service marketplace also provides tools enabling users with large or ongoing order volume to customize the orders to meet their demands. One of these tools is the above-mentioned WebForm tool. This tool is integrated in every order process. In the survey sector, the tool will help you create your survey form. You can edit the task view, which is displayed to the Clickworkers in the text creation and translations sectors.
The tool can also be used separately and free of charge for your own purposes, irrespective of a text, translation or survey order placed within our marketplace.
For the past eight years we have provided our customers with a service option that enables them to integrate our services via an API into their IT infrastructure and company workflows. Our customers can use the API for example to place new orders, or submit order data and get the results directly back into their system. This service is popular and is being increasingly used. We have now further optimized the API for our customers.
Smartphone, iPad, Laptop – the rapid technical developments of the previous century have changed our lifestyle drastically. Mobile devices with their host of functions are also applicable to business objectives, and provide, the technological basis for modern labor according to the mobile workforce model.
Modern mobile devices with their overwhelming number of cross media functions like internet access, word processing, email, social media and applications (apps) allow users to perform a variety of operations at any time in any place. Communicating, getting informed, researching, developing concepts and taking part in discussions are no problem today with portable digital gadgets. The impressive technological innovations which transferred these tasks to handy formats, can also be applied to commercial, organizational and administrative purposes, and constitute the ideal basis for individually defined work. The use of a mobile workforce, which means one no longer bound to the corporate office space, represents a steadily increasing trend in today’s job market. Their share of the total personnel volume in Western Europe and the USA already amounts to over 50 and 70 percent respectively (IDC study).
In our marketplace you can build any number of Clickworker teams for yourself, which can then either be chosen or excluded during the job creation process.
Usage of Expert Teams – Logically a team of Clickworkers can be put together whose previous work you have been especially pleased with. This allows you to direct the work upcoming jobs specifically to the Clickworkers on your expert team. In this way you can better guide the results and help align them with your expectations.
Usage of Blacklists – On the other hand a team of Clickworkers can be assembled that you wish to exclude from future tasks, and thereby define as a blacklist. This is especially useful when you personally weren’t as pleased with the results, for example their text style, produced by these Clickworkers. But it also makes sense to create a blacklist of Clickworkers for subsequent jobs like surveys, to prevent the same workers from taking part in the survey again.
In the following, we explain step by step to you how the building of teams works.
